One Month Old
DT is one month old today. I just weighed him in at 11 lbs even.
He's growing up so fast!

Not the best video by any means, but at least you can get a glimpse of BDT moving around!
In the background, LT is playing with his grocery shopping game and his cash register. The game was a reward for completing his chart - he had to stay in his bed until at least 5am for 10 nights in a row without coming to our room. He didn't miss a night! Since he finished, he's been doing okay. Last night he came in around 4 to say he had to use the bathroom. Go! we said. Two nights before that he came in around 3 to say I had given him fresh water before bed. So I got him fresh water and he didn't want a sip - he just went straight back to bed. Silly guy. :D

First Bottlefeed
An unprecedented second post in one day!
The ceremonial first bottle feed at 22 days old.
For comparison, LT's first bottle feed at 20 days old.
Ok, that was just for fun! Here is last night's actual 1st bottle feed. He took to it like a champ and drank all 2oz in about 5min. Then I had to nurse him because 2oz is just a teaser for him!

Thanks to Grandma for helping with the shirts! We were sorry to see the Grandparents go yesterday. I have more pictures waiting to be posted. Grandparents T are coming next weekend, so we have that to look forward to!

First Ped Visit
Mr. BDT had his first visit to the peditrician today, at not quite 4 days old.
He was born at 8lb6oz and was 7lb14oz Wednesday morning when we were at the hospital. At the ped's, they had us undress him and the nurse weighed him. It said 8lb10oz. When the Dr. came in, he said... "I don't believe that. Let me get a new scale." It was so funny. The new scale said 8lb6oz, so not as much, but the Dr still thought it was pretty amazing since they don't even look for infants to gain their weight back until 2 weeks and he was just 4 days old. I was pretty floored myself. That's 1/2lb in less than 2 days! He's going to be out of his 0-3 month clothes and little diapers FAST. Crazy! Guess my milk is working!

Lil Bro
Good thing we tied up those loose ends! BDT ("baby" D.T.) decided to surprise us and make his appearance on his actual due date! Wow! The delivery was not as fast as the nurses predicted as BDT was face up and that stalled the labor. Once he flipped around with some positioning help, he was out in less than 5 minutes of pushing.
He was born on April 28 at 4:07pm.
8lbs 6oz and 20-1/4" long, not to mention cute!
Big brother is very excited to have little brother finally come out and join him! We're all home now and doing well.

Tying Up Loose Ends
Since tomorrow is Baby 2's due date, we needed to tie up some loose ends today.

Hasn't been compared extensively with LT's yet, since it was still drying. Look like this belly was more out in front. Perhaps that's why two people asked me if it was twins this weekend?!?!?

Air Guitar
