Camping
A historic moment took place this weekend. Our very first camping trip with 4 of us. In order to make this work, we had to get a new tent and an air mattress (I insisted on the latter). I would say it was successful. The boys had a really good time and were only slightly crazy. We had sandwiches for lunch, foil packets for dinner, smores (a lot of smores) for dessert and then bacon, eggs, toast & coffee for breakfast. We even got our own personal talk from the park ranger when we were the only ones to show up.

an air mattress - luxury camping. looks like you didn't have to worry about your tent blowing away! i could use a smore or two...
historic! it looks like such fun, but keep in mind that the last time i went camping was in Gma's Airstream with A/C - not exactly roughing it. and did i spy a pudgie pie maker? yum.
Looks like it was a great deal of fun!
We invented a new type of pudgie pie ... we butter the bread and then put a crumbled up graham cracker and chocolate inside. Meanwhile we toasted some marshmallows. When the pudgie pie was ready we pried it open and stuck the marshmallows inside. Voila! S'mores pudgie pie. Very delicious.
